Mrs. DeHaven shares with us the latest, most popular colors for this Spring’s sunsets.
By Aurelie DeHaven
Bon jour, my dears, and welcome to another blog where I give you the “inside scoop” on what goes into making sunsets. If you remember, I touched on the more technical aspects of creating a sunset last time.
This time, I wanted to provide you a brief glimpse of the “in” colors for sunsets all over the world this spring. As you might expect, mes amis, I take great pride in keeping our lovely Schaumburg on the cutting edge of sunset technology and fashion. So you will be pleased to know I will be incorporating the VERY latest hues and “colours” in our own sunsets?
What are those colors, you ask? The most fashionable sunsets this year will be using three VERY chic colors — Atomic tangerine, Xanthous and Persian orange!
By themselves they will bring a certain “je ne sais quoi” to a sunet, but used in harmony with other colors you have grown accustomed to they will be simply magnifique!
I have already started mixing the colors in large batches for use in our upcoming sunsets, so as long as the Weekend Crew don’t fall into my mixing vats we should have stunning sunsets all spring long! And never fear, you will still see my signature “ruby red” color from time to time.
That’s all for now, my sunset fans! Keep sending me those cards and emails. And remember: profiter du soleil — “enjoy the sunshine!”
