The Triplets share one of their favorite chili recipes to create
a good wind!

Looking to make the perfect chili to create a good strong wind? You’re in luck — we have the recipe for you!
As you might imagine, we sample chili all the time — it’s what helps us do our job of creating breezes for our fair city. Here’s a recipe we’ve found that gets us in just the right mood to make a breeze.
– 2 pounds ground beef
– 1 onion, diced
– 3 cloves garlic
– 1 can diced tomatoes
– 2 cans diced tomatoes with green chile peppers
– 1 small can tomato paste
– 2 cans pinto beans
– 2 tablespoons chili powder
– 1 table spoon ground cumin
– 2 tablespoons white sugar
– 1 teaspoon salt
What’s next? Brown the beef, add the onion and garlic and cook them about 5-6 minutes. When that’s all done, add everything else and cook another 30 minutes. Then serve.
Note: Dan handles our stronger winds and he likes to add a few extra cans of beans. Feel free, but don’t be surprised if your friends ask you to eat your dinner outside on the porch.
We’ve tried this recipe several times and Schaumburg has enjoyed windy days for up to 3 days after we’re done with leftovers. It keeps well in the fridge, so you’re guaranteed to have breezes for weeks if you space out your meals.
Hope you enjoy the recipe. We’ll be back soon with a whole list of our favorite soda pops that will give you burps AND breezes at one sitting!
